Are you aware of the rise in break-ins in Victoria Park? When homeowner Steve found this out, he wanted to secure his home, but allow his dogs to move freely. Here’s what he did.
“It was a painless process, they were polite, efficient, and on time. That’s all you really need. Plus, the workmanship was impeccable. Thank you.” – Steve Brown.
Staying Safe from Break Ins
In the RAC’s recently released list of the worst WA suburbs for break-ins, Victoria Park fell in at number 10. This has recently made many Victoria Park community residents, like Steve and his wife, think about their at-home security and security doors.
Securing the Home
When Steve and his wife moved back to Perth from Karratha, they found that their home in Victoria Park had not been well looked after by their previous tenants throughout the Covid-19 period.
They knew they would have to renovate a few things, but one of the first things on their list was to install Crimsafe security screens and security doors. As break-ins in the area were on the rise, their priority was to keep themselves, their pets, and their belongings safe.
This was a tough decision as Steve didn’t want to remove his dog door, which allowed his two ‘fur-babies’ – dogs Charlie and Nala – to get in and out of the home as they pleased. He wasn’t sure whether there was a way of keeping the bad guys out while being able to let in his beloved pets. As Steve says, “they’re part of the family.”
Same-Day Pet Door Measure & Quote
Steve called the team at Clearview Security and asked if we could install a pet door into a Crimsafe door. Once advised that we could help, he proceeded to book a free on-site measure and quote. Our consultant met Steve at his home to measure up and chat through all of Steve’s questions.
The consultant composed a plan that suited Steve, Charlie, and Nala.
The plan?
The plan was to install a medium pet door for Charlie and Nala into the home’s main sliding door and place 3m security film to the exposed glass areas. And all in a colour that complimented the home’s existing frames.
Within minutes Steve was presented with a quote and once his deposit was received, he didn’t have to do a thing.
Perth-Made Security Pet Doors
While Steve was left to focus on his other renovations and improvements, we were busy manufacturing his order right here at our factory in Osborne Park. Once completed, our team of professional installers called to arrange the installation service date that suited.
The Outcome of the Pet-Friendly Security Door
We are proud of our team’s punctuality, workmanship, and when our results exceed customers’ expectations. Steve’s experience only reinforced our teams’ commitment to being on time and doing the job correctly.
“I was surprised that they came with the tools to clean up after themselves once they’d finished. If it weren’t for the new door, you’d never know they’d been here.”
Steve’s dogs Charlie and Nala couldn’t be happier with their newfound access in and out of the home, and Steve is delighted as he can watch the Eagles play without interruption.
“We love the pet doors and feel so secure going to bed at night or leaving the house knowing the dogs can move about freely, yet the house is completely secure.”
